About the project

The database of China Fossil Plant and Pollen (short for CFPP) is a thematic data portal under the project of BioONE( https://bio-one.org.cn/ ). BioONE is also a sub-project of the Big Earth Data Science Engineering Program (CASEarth, http://www.casearth.com/ ), which is officially approved on January 1, 2018, as a Strategic Priority Research Program (Class A) of the Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS) with an implementation period of five years.

CFPP includes data in following fields:
1.Fossil plant: checklist, literature, specimen, image, distribtion information about fossil plant.
2.Pollen: checklist, literature, image, distribtion information about pollen on the soil surface.
3.Bioarchaeology: iterature, distribtion information about plant and animal remain records in China 's 5000-year history.

Besides our own work, we are also glad to integrate existing data from folowing source as our online partners.
